We’re growing at People Plus and have two part-time roles coming up. We’re a small team of five based in Gisborne, working closely with local businesses, individuals and families across HR, employment relations, recruitment and immigration. Things are busy (in a good way), so we’re looking to add:

• HR Consultant

• Licensed Immigration Adviser (or on the pathway)

Both roles are part-time (minimum 20 hours, negotiable) with flexibility around hours and where you work. We’re big on trust, supporting each other, and doing work that fits around real life. If you’re in an in-house role and keen for more variety, or you’re looking for a supportive team where people genuinely have your back, this could be worth a chat.

Ecoefficient Solutions NZ Ltd is currently recruiting for two roles in Hawke’s Bay: a Qualified Electrician and a Solar Installation Specialist. Pultron Composites are growing and are looking for several Machine Operators to join their fibreglass pultrusion team in Gisborne. This is a hands-on role working with machinery and materials used in infrastructure projects in New Zealand and overseas. No previous manufacturing or fibreglass experience is required, as full training is provided.

Shift options are available depending on the area of the workshop, including Monday to Friday roles or a 4 on / 4 off roster. These are permanent opportunities offering stable work, skill development, and a clear pathway to grow. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Wainui Surf Lifesaving Club 

We’re recruiting on behalf of Wainui Surf Life Saving Club for a Part-Time Club Administrator / Events Coordinator — and applications close this Saturday, 15 February 2026.

This role would really suit someone with Surf Life Saving experience or a background in a not-for-profit, sporting or volunteer organisation — that knowledge would be a huge bonus and make you feel right at home from day one.

You’ll be supporting the club across administration, communications, events and member engagement in a flexible, hybrid role (25 hours per week), while contributing to mahi that genuinely matters in our community.
